- Understand your own cultural identity and how that influences your interaction
- Fine-tune your approach to meet your employee’s background and expectations
- Be able to recognize cultural communication styles and addres them effectively
Audience
This training is for managers who work with employees from different cultures. This could be at an international organization or at a Dutch company with employees from diverse backgrounds.
High Impact Performance
This training is based on the High Impact Performance approach. Under the guidance of an experienced trainer, a training actor will help you to translate your learnings into concrete communicative behavior. The training actor creates a realistic real-life situation by portraying the behavior you find challenging in your (work)setting. Several proven theater-based techniques invite you to experiment with new behavior and discover your best way to deal with this behavior. This powerful training method helps you to take the step from gaining insight towards developing effective behavior and skill. It enables you to boost your effectivity by expanding your behavioral repertoire.
Approach
This is an interactive training in which cultural theories and perspectives are explained, demonstrated and discussed. Individual cases are practiced with a training actor. Using a variety of exercises, you will work on your personal awareness and insights related to leading an intercultural team.
Throughout the entire training trajectory, our online learning platform (e-Connect) will be available. Here you will find extra exercises, information and the means to communicate with the trainer and share experiences with other participants.
