Training Building a Growth Mindset (English)

Do you want to make better use of your potential? Then this might be the ideal course for you! In this interactive two day training, you'll experience the power of mindset. You'll learn how a Growth Mindset can contribute to a better performance.  A Growth Mindset enables people to find learning opportunities in situations that people with a Fixed Mindset might be eager to avoid. Situations like critical feedback, challenges or obstacles. When these situations become learning experiences, you will continuously improve your skill and knowledge levels which results in a better performance.

After this training you will

• Understand how your brain works in relation to learning and you will recognize the difference between a Growth and a Fixed Mindset
• Become more aware what the influence mindset has on daily choices and how it affects your learning 
• Know how to use the five learning strategies: embracing challenges, persevere through setbacks, convert both criticism and failure into valuable lessons and learn from the success of others
• Choose to act more often with a Growth Mindset approach, using and deepening experiences as learning moments to create a process of continuous improvement

Audience

This course is relevant for anyone who feels they're holding themselves back from freely accessing learning opportunities. You're willing to make the personal puzzle of discovering their levers to make a shift. If you bring your eagerness to expand your learning possibilities to the training, you will definitely take a step forward. No previous knowledge is required.

Individual coaching

Because some of us have been conditioned from an early age to act from a Fixed Mindset, consciously thinking and acting from a Growth Mindset may require more support. A Growth Mindset coach can help you to deal with what the founder Carol Dweck calls this ‘the battle within us all’. Individual coaching can help deepen the learning process so that strengthening your Growth Mindset grows into a daily habit. A new routine applied both in work and in private life.  The cost for a package of 3 sessions is € 1,490. This is exclusive of VAT.

Approach

In this 2-day training, you will learn to focus less on ‘proving’ and more on ‘improving’. This curiously enough leads to a continuous improvement of your performance today and definitely increases your potential for the future. Language carries mindset. During the course you will get to know the battle within yourself. You'll discover your favorite way to sabotage your learning process – your Fixed Triggers. And you'll work on ways to neutralize those triggers using words and sentences that evoke a Growth Mindset. 

Our experienced trainers help you to find your levers to activate your Growth Mindset in such a way that you will be able to integrate it in your own work practice and personal life. We also will focus on integrating the five learning strategies into your learning repertoire. At the end of the training, you will formulate a personal action plan that enables you to apply new learning strategies in your daily life.

In short: this course will help you to choose a Growth Mindset more often, enabling you to learn more effectively and with more joy. As a result, you will continuously develop yourself in work and life and be more prepared for the future.

Classroom or virtual classroom

You can follow this program in a classroom at a location of your choice. Because you learn a lot from each other within a group, we offer you an alternative location when there are insufficient registrations for your preferred location. Our training facilities are located throughout the Netherlands. Do you prefer lessons at fixed times, with a teacher and digitally? Then virtual classroom offers you the solution.
